If you are thinking about getting a puppy for your family, think about what breed, or mix of breeds will be the best suited for your lifestyle. Do some computer research about the breeds you are interested in, but it doesn't end there.

You must talk to people who own the breed...I don't mean breeders, I mean people who live with one in their family/house. Attend an obedience group class as a spectator and talk to people who have the breed you are thinking about.

If you have no idea what breed will work best for you, talking to the people and by watching an obedience class or two.

I have used Bounty paper towels for years, they are really the hardest working paper towels around. And I still use them for certain jobs, in certain parts of my house. I don't use them in any area my dogs have access to and don't dispose of them anywhere my dogs can get to. The reason they are the work horse of paper towels is they don't break down (digest) readily....that means when your dog eats them they don't digest well and can often create a blockage that has to be surgically removed. Talk to your vet, mine says she often has to remove paper towel blockages from dogs.
